Debi Briesacher, MA, MPA, CA. LMFT #37348 (California Licenced Marriage and Family Therapist), CHT (Certified Hypnotherapist) and CSAT (Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist), EMDR, Certified Imago Relationship Therapist, AASECT Sex Therapist, the owner and developer of www.healingreflections.com, is a therapist, consultant, executive coach, and professional speaker who specializes in working with people with addiction and trauma issues, particularly sexual obsessions and compulsions, whether they be individuals, couples, parents, or children. 

She works from the IMAGO Relationship perspective developed by Harville Hendrix.  She has trained extensively on with Patrick Carnes, PhD, which has allowed her to expand Imago Relationships theories into the crucial areas of sexual obsession and compulsion, and Task Oriented treatment for the partners of the sex addicted, compulsive, or obsessed.  She is currently being mentored by Dr. Carnes in a Professional Improvement Program, and recently presented at the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) Symposium, February 22-24, 2007.  Debi is also a CSAT Consultant, for supervising CSAT candidates going through the certification process.  As of February 2007, there are only 264 Certified Sexual Addiction Therapists (CSAT) in the United States (35 in California).

Debi also provides executive coaching to individuals, partnerships, small businesses and large organizations.  Specialized classes include:  communications skills, conflict management, customer service, team building, mission statements and strategic planning.

Debi is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), The Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH), Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT),  American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT), Imago Relationships International, EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and the American Board of Hypnotherapists , (IITAP) The International Institute of Trauma and Addictions Professionals, She is also a Certified Consultant/Supervisor for those Therapists completing Certified Sexual Addiction certification training who need certification hours (supervised client hours.)     She has appeared as a guest on numerous radio and television shows – including Oprah, KVEC talk radio, and KCOY TV. She is also the author of several articles - on issues such as Adult Children Of Alcoholic/Dysfunctional Families, Money and Therapists, Clients and Money, The Co-Addicted partner,etc.
